About FC Rahr
Est. 2008, Formerly "The New Team"

 

FC Rahr is a Men's Adult Soccer Club located in Fort Worth, Texas.  We enjoy competing in every soccer venue possible including outdoor and indoor leagues, tournaments, and small sided matches.  Our main goal is to develop friendships among our players, while continuing to improve our abilities on the field.  We strive to maintain a good balance between having fun and still being a competitive team.

                       Team History                        
 
FC Rahr was formed in August of 2008 under the name "The New Team."  We were all perfect strangers who had an interest in playing with the FWASA.  At that time, 20 guys formed a team and began competing in the 3rd Division of FWASA's Men's Over 18 league.
 
The New Team would go on to win Division 3 and move up to Division 2 in the FWASA.
 
In mid November 2008, "The New Team" was fortunate enough to find a local sponsor in the Rahr Brewery.  Thus, we adopted the name FC Rahr.
 
During the Spring 2009 season, FC Rahr went 9-0-1, once again winning their division.
 
In April of 2009, Buffalo Wild Wings on Hulen agreed to be a second sponsor for our club.  Finally, our latest sponsor addition was Nick Harding, a local State Farm Agent.
 
We are proud to be sponsored by these local businesses and encourage everyone to support them as they have enhanced our communities!
